About Me

Hi, I’m Taylor!

I decided to make this blog, because there are so many prospective pre-medical students. I felt that I could reach out to high school students, college students, and other people who are interested in becoming a physician/PA/nurse or learning about medicine in general. I am currently a pre-medical, rising grad student pursuing a career as a physician.

What makes me a nontraditional student? Well, I transferred from a community college to a 4-year university and decided to take a couple of gap years before applying to medical school. In this time, I have completed my pre-medical prerequisites, started studying for the MCAT, and will be attending a post-bacc program this fall. In addition, I will also pursue a master’s degree in physiology.

I will try my best to post consistently, but it may take a bit of time to figure out a solid schedule. In the end, I hope you enjoy my journey to the primary goal: the MD/DO promiseland. As I say, it may take you a few stops along the way, but you will eventually reach your final destination.
